Strength. Confidence. Character

Kid’s Camp

Kids are the future!

We’re seeking to build strength, confidence, and character in our youth through fundamental training and agility. Proper form often goes unnoticed in youth sports. At GG corrective exercise is crucial for peak performance. Your child’s confidence and abilities will not only increase in the gym but in the classroom as well.

Fundamental Exercise

There are seven basic movements the human body can perform and all other exercises are merely variations of these seven: pull, push, squat, lunge, hinge, rotation, and gait. When performing all of these movements, you will be able to stimulate all of the major muscle groups in your body.

Agility

Agility is a skill-related component of physical fitness that relates to the ability to rapidly change the position of the entire body efficiently and effectively. Proper agility training can improve your performance in football, soccer, basketball, and volleyball.

Mobility & Flexibility

Mobility refers to how a joint moves through its normal range of motion. Flexibility is the ability of a muscle or muscle group to lengthen passively through a range of motion. Better mobility and flexibility equals better overall performance.

Aerobic & Anaerobic Exercise

Aerobic exercises tend to be rhythmic, gentle, and of longer duration. Anaerobic exercises tend to involve short bursts of high-intensity activity. Generally speaking, aerobic exercise helps increase endurance, whereas anaerobic exercise helps increase muscle mass and strength.

Plyometrics

Plyometrics is a type of exercise training that uses the speed and force of different movements to build muscle power. Any exercises that involve a jumping or explosive movement.

Core Strength

Core strength is less about power and more about the subtleties of being able to maintain the body in ideal postures — to unload the joints and promote ease of movement. The core is a group of muscles that stabilizes and controls the pelvis and spine.
